"This is my first and current Buick. I purchased this car in February 2002.
The car had been in dry storage for 8 years before I purchased it. When it was first rolled it out of
storage I was amazed at how big it was! It just kept rolling and rolling and rolling out of the garage.
A 19 foot Buick presented itself for my inspection. The decision was swift and decisive. Yes please! Sold.
With a new 650CCA CAT battery and a splash of fuel the 'ol 401 Nailhead fired up almost immediately.
A Pertronic electronic ignition module was installed (which has now been replaced by one of
Daves Small body HEI's and now it
starts every time and just purrs down the road. Of course when I step on the loud pedal the 401
cubic inch Nailhead performs like the thoroughbred Buick V8 motor that it is.
I would have to say that I probably get as much of a thrill out of it as
the original owner did back in 1966. I will be featuring more photos and information on this car as
time goes by so - as usual - check back often and keep up to date with my 1966 Buick Electra 225 Custom
4 door hardtop. - Bill"
